Important parameters to consider for performance monitoring of a SharePoint farm,

• Requests per second (RPS) - Gathered using IISLogs and LogParser
• Disk I/O per second (IOPS)
• Disk Megabytes transferred per second (MBPS)
• Disk I/O latency
